Grand Manan - Community
Grand Manan is located 200 miles offshore from Black's Harbour, New Brunswick, and is served year-round by a 64 car ferry making multiple trips from Black's Harbour daily. The Island is within a day's drive from any large population center along the eastern seaboard, yet it remains an oasis from the bustle of urban living.
Grand Manan Island boasts a number of natural attractions which range from lighthouses, beaches, wildflowers and soaring cliffs to colorful fishing boats, seabirds and whales. In fact, the nutrient-rich waters of the Bay of Fundy give Grand Manan the best whale and seabird watching in New Brunswick.
