Campobello - Community

Campobello Island is located off the southeast end of New Brunswick and the Northeast tip of Maine.  It can be reached by crossing the Roosevelt International Bridge from Lubec, Maine, or, during the summer months, by the Deer Island ferries that travel to and from the New Brunswick mainland near St. George.

Campobello Island is home of the Roosevelt Campobello International Park, one of the only two of its kind in the world. Established in 1964 and encompassing 2,800 acres, the park's beauty is easily accessed by many trails and drives.  The park also features the Roosevelt Cottage, which was the summer home of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and his wife Eleanor.
