Physical Assistance (Violent Threat) - Code White
Code WHITE is the term used to summon urgent physical assistance. Help is obtained by calling switchboard (6666) and asking them to announce Code WHITE and the area requesting assistance.
All orderlies on duty respond to the code by going to the area in need. Any incident on a nursing unit will be documented on the nurses' notes. Documentation involving a visitor incident would depend on circumstances at the time.
